for english i have to write a short stroy (two pages).

but i cant think of what to write it about?

write about a goofy kid that has to think of a short story to write and all the obstacles he had to go through to find a topic...LOL...make it like a cartoon.

write about a small boy 10 yrs old and him playing in the attic and finding like a baseball bat and finding out his dad was a pro baseball player but he quit because he had to take care of his son and the kid tries to become a pro baseball player to fill in the legacy

How about a guy who needs an idea for a short story, goes online and posts a query and takes all the ideas and writes the very best story EVER. And then he get a movie deal and becomes a millionaire and then all these people are all "Hey, that was my idea" and he's all "Nu-uh" and then there is like a really big article in PEOPLE and he's shamed into admitting what he did and how he couldn't think of ANYthing and he's super bummed and then his girlfriends all like: "You don't have any good ideas?!?!! I am outtie Cuz how are you going to buy me that bracelet at TIffany's?!"  And he's really sad, so he goes and posts another question "What do I do now?" and recounts his whole sad story. And amazingly all the same people who responded to his first question READ his second one and are filled with pity and shame because, afterall, they had put their ideas out there, they had given them away to him, and then he actually DID something with them and so really they were just bitter and jealous.  And they all made nice and decided to form an online writing forum.
