Question:

Need help on finding a good beginner driver!

I played baseball all through high school so I never got into golf. Now being in college I bought a begginer set (Wilson Optimax) I realize they are not top of the line but they are going to let me learn for a while. I only have one complaint with them, I hate the driver. I want to get a driver that isn't crazy expensive and is good quality.

  1. The best thing to do would be go to a demo day and see what driver suits you the best and maybe get advice about the different drivers that may be better off to use and not so expensive. I use a Callaway Fusion 10 degrees and it works really well for me. I play off 2.9. Good Luck.

    Have a good one...

  2. Wilson Optimax is not a bad sets or the driver for a beginner's. I suggest you keep on using it until you get better anud then buy a upgrade or well known brand. What if your going to hate the new driver again? Instead of buying a new driver, used the money for a golf lesson. Good Luck!

  3. nike have some cheap ones on ebay but heaps are cheap there
