  1. Oregon Virtual Academy does not support high school students at this time. There is however Connections Academy and Insight School Of Oregon. And there are some that are not free but affordable to anyone regardless of what state you live in.

  2. I'm not certain of the laws for home schooling in Oregon. We home school also and have found a lot of free curriculum at the library. There are out of print text books there that they sign out like regular books. We have bought many text books from the Salvation Army Thrift Store, Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity stores. I purchased a Biology, Calculus, Amer. Lit and Amer History book from our local thrift store for $2.

You can check with a local home school group in your area - a Google search away. They may be able to help you with books and what your child(ren) would need to be able to get credit so they can go to college when they graduate. (Some colleges have very strict entrance policies)

Maybe this will help!! God bless and good luck!!!

  4. You can do correspondence schooling (online schooling) as another option to homeschooling. One that I know of is Keystone National High School/ Keystone National Middle school (I don't know which grade you're in). It isn't free but it is an option if you want to explore it.
