Need help on how to curl my hair this way! (from the character Allie in The Notebook)?

Anyone know how I can do it like that? Or where I can ask for help online?

its called using a curling iron!

That would be a big barrel curling iron (1 to 1 1/4 inch barrel) and using a thermal active setting spray to set the curls. Once you curl it, then use your fingers to piece it out. Light mist spray and you have it!

use a curling iron and hold it upright...not sideways! and spray with hairspray to hold in place
