Need help on my driveway?

my driveway is tar and i want to sealcoat it but i have never done it before. what are the tools i will need and what is the drying time on it because i live in the city and i cant really park my cars on the street. also how do a patch a 1 foot by 1foot hole. how long will this take me and will i need to put a second coat

Just buy the sealer and a good push broom. it's super easy I would suggest 24 hours min before driving on it.  Home Depot sells a Quick Patch it's in a Bag pre mixed you just tamp it in so you would need a tamper too.  It's made by Quickcrete (sp) it's about 10 bucks a bag you might need 2 bags I put one bag of sand or however much you think you will need then the patch on top tamp let set up and then add more and retamp.  depends on size of drive mine is almost a mile so it took us 2 days with 4 people a couple hours a day.  If it has not been sealed for a while you might need 2 coats I would do one then another a month or so after.
