1. Besides migrating to survive, what exactly does it gain by migrating? Pretty much the goal of the migration? Mating? Temperature?

2. what cues tell walruses when to migrate?

3. How does it navigate as it migrates?

1. Sorry, but I wasn&#039;t aware that walruses migrate at all.  They do move around as ice conditions vary, but they don&#039;t go very far, and they don&#039;t all move together like most migrating animals, nor do they take the same routes.

2. Ice conditions are probably the primary determinant, closely followed by hunger.

3. Probably by sound, taste of the water, memory and the presence of other walruses.
