Need help opening ports!?

Question

I have always wanted to host a server on online games such as Garry's Mod 10 and Team Fortress 2 but my ports are giving me trouble! Can anyone give me an easy solution to open my ports?

you have to port forward through your router and firewall...you can go to portforward.com and check there they have pretty good guides just be sure to click on the router you have and then portforward that port through your firewall too
