Question:

Need help planning a surprise birthday outing!?

Here's the deal: 4 of us co-workers want to plan an after work surprise outing for one of our work buddies. He's turning 23 this Friday and it'll be impossible to do something at work so we figured we'd kidnap him and take him somewhere after work. Any suggestions how we can make it more fun and creative? I'd be happy to take any other suggestions. The crazier, the better! Thanks a lot.

  1. That sounds like a blast! Assuming you don't want to take him to a pub or restauraunt... make it easy on yourselves and

pick up fried chicken at the local market with a hot deli, don't forget a package of napkins. Maybe something silly but good lile apples or a watermelon. Take him to the beach for fishing off the pier. Not near the ocean? How about a lake or river? Or kidnap him for all weekend and go camping somewhere. That way you "4" can have your vehicles packed already.

But be smart about it... make sure a parent or sibling or somebody close to him knows your plans. No need to worry his family if he "disappears" for a couple of days. Have fun!!!

Sounds like it's gonna be good no matter what.

  2. go to a hot spot for happy hour right away after work! get some food and drinks then head off someplace else, or maybe take him to Hooters for some girls and wings. Any sporting events going on that night or street festivals or anything? we have a river boat tour around here that takes you on the boat for two hours and you get free food and drinks.....maybe you have something like that by you? maybe go to a strip club or comedy club, or else just a hoppin dance club. I'd definitely tell him you're doing something that day though incase he allready made plans for dinner with family or something.
