We would like to go to Peru for our Honeymoon but cannot find a package that really fits our needs. We want to visit Machu Picchu, see a waterfall, go on a zip line, take a canoe through a cave, and stay at atleast one accomodation with an ocean view. Our trip needs to be between 7-12 days and no more than $5,000 including air. Possible flights out of Nashville, Tn, St. Louis, Mo, and Chicago, IL. Any advise on where to go, hotels, vacation/tour companies would be great!

  1. Hi Tami.  thanks to think about Peru for your honneymoon! will be nice a magic for you . ex:: spend a night in Macchu Picchu Santuary Lodge  . and the best view to the inka city. is expensive  just one night :)...   . but is necesary to make the reservation  usually is busy .

then in Cuzco city we have many opcion about acomodations not expensive . to visit Cuzco maybe 5 days .

The Sacred Valled of the Inkas and yhe famous Indian Market there . lots of ruins near of the city , discs, bars , good restaurants is amazing and wonderfull!!

1 hour fly from Lima .

You can visit de magical jungle almost 1 hour from Lima by plane, we have good excursions and really nice lodges and hotels.

About beach? the bests in the north ... Mancora , white sand  and sumer all year.

Lima  city the Capital , good hotels. restaurant. hotels with a nice view of the beach.

  3. Why don't you just ask a TRAVEL AGENT?  They have all the resources to help you and it won't cost you anything... here on Answers, about 95 percent of the people have never been outside the State they were born in... these aren't exactly world travelers.

  4. Hi

You will be able to do this for 5000 no problem

We have used continental to fly there a couple of times and the prices were fair.

I would recommend a few days in Cusco, go to machu pichu, tour the sacred valley.. and if you want... maybe a 3-4 day trek.

we used www.sunriseperu.com for all our peru bookings..

the 2 day inca trail goes past a couple of water falls.

    we booked the flights ourselves..

we stayed at the hotel prisma in cusco.. not 5 star.. but clean and safe and good enough ($50 a night)

paracas is a really nice beach town... 2-3 hours south of lima

went there for a visit when we were in pisco last fall

    some pics...
