Need help please. Best Air+Hotel inclusive deals for Cancun Honeymoon?

Question

Okay we have 2k to spend and want to stay 7 nights. Is that enough to get a great week long vacation in cancun plus airfare?

I know of people that have got great deals traveling, and others who thought they got a great deal and didn't. There are so many 'great deals' out there I don't know which is really a deal. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Orbitz? expedia, etc? We need to go on Dec 30th to Jan 6th, please help!

I got a great deal from this one place.  I used them 2 years ago and they gave me a rate of 1,500 for two all inclusive all you can eat drink manicure pedicure massage room service ocean view transfers from airport and excursions are included!!!!! I had to buy the airfare separately since they don't specialize.  Dec. 30 might be more expensive but check anyways.  The resort is fab. and we loved it 5 times

Well congratulations. You can try and work out a deal with one of the on-line groups like cheep Caribbean deals. I did that and got burned for the All-inclusive part. It was advertised but in small print subject to change check with your hotel. Well it was changed and it cost my bride and an extra $800.00.

My bride and I Honeymooned in Cancun, however, we really like the Island Cozumel. If you think you might like to Honeymoon in Cozumel here is my contact in Cozumel. He might be hard to get a hold of, however, keep trying tell him Lance and Kathy Williams recommended the Park Royal Hotel.

If you decided to go I will tell you the cheapest way to get from the Cancun Airport to Playa del Carmen and then across the channel to Cozumel(about 35 min.)
