Need help printing a PowerPoint file. ?

I recieved a powerpoint file through e-mail. i want to put 2 slides on each page when i print them out. how do i do this?

[I am using Powerpoint from MS Office 2007 although earlier versions should work the same]

1. Open the powerpoint document

2. Open 'print' dialog

3. There will be alot of options. In a way the print dialog is split into 3 sections. Look at the bottom one (or just generally down the bottom of the dialog) and to the left and you will see 'Print what:'

4. It is default set to 'slides' but open the drop down box and select 'handouts'

5. Then to the right of the 'print what:' option a section called 'handouts' should have become visible

6. There is an option 'slides per page'..Select 2 from the drop down list

7. Press ok and you have printed out 2 slides on each page

This is not a demanding procedure as depicted in the response below. liziel02, your method is incredibly inefficient considering MS PowerPoint has this feature built in.

Save each file and paste it into WORD.

You can RIGHT click > copy >

go to an open WORD document > RIGHT click > paste.

Then use your sizing tools to make sure it fits the way you want.

You may have to adjust the Word margins

or use your cursor to resize the text or photos.

This takes patience and to develop a bit of skill

but you can do it.

This is a very manual procedure:

Open photoshop or Paint.

Now open first slide, on the keyboard press PrintScreen.

Go back to Paint, Click Edit > Paste.

   (resize the picture so u can insert the 2nd pic in the same page)

Open 2nd slide, PrintScreen again

Go back to Paint, Click Edit > Paste.

Arrange the pictures then save.

Print Preview to see results before printing.

Page Setup to make adjustments if necessary.
