Need help ps3 downloading stuff?

how come when i download something(demos) in background on ps3 it will let me but only if im on cross media bar not while in game how come

Strange.

It downloads in the background when you are playing a game or watching a movie staying in the XMD section is not necessary.  Did you update the ps3?

it's just designed that way, might be to speed up your game online (regardless if your playing online), also try updating your firmware it might have been fixed

mabye you should quickly just do other stuff

like download it from another site
