we have a berry tree in the back yard behide our house,and berrys fell all over the back of our yard . could this be why we have so many flys..

They are likely fruit flies.  You should see them fly up when you walk through the berries.  If you keep the berries cleaned up as they fall, you should see the number of flies drop dramatically.

yes u r correct because flys are attracted to sweet smells such as berries or syrup so they r very attracted to it.
