  1. It depends if the hedgehog has been weaned or not, assuming it has been give it some tinned dog food and water. or contact the 'TIGGYWINKLE' organisation in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire they deal with hedgehogs and are experts in looking after them they will give you the best advice.

  2. give it water to drink and cat food to eat. cover the hutch with a towel. your local vet will take it in, no charge.

  3. It should be fine in the rabbit run - just make sure it's got some shade and water. It's probably buried itself under the hay.

It should also be fine for food until tonight, but it might appreciate a little bit of dog or cat food.

  4. Give it some tinned cat food the cheaper the better (as high quality cat food like whiskas is to rich for them!)  also a shallow bowl of water!

DO NOT give them milk, hogs are lactose intolerant

If i was you i would keep it in the run untill tonight and then let him/her out at about 8pm when its a bit darker then he/she can carry on as usual!

In the wild they eat slugs, worms etc.. so if by any chance you see any pop them in lol

  5. It will be fine in the rabbit run. You can give it some water and cat food if you want but it should be find until the hedgehog rescue come

  6. You've had some great advice already, yes don't give the hog milk as that can actually kill them. normal hay/wood shvings is fine, if it is a baby water mixed with a little vitiamins for rodents should be used as it will prolong the long it would live without the mother or before it can be weaned. Cat food and water if it's an adult.
