Need help reading my contact perscription so I can order them off line.?

Okay. I have two questions... The base curve is written as 83. On the thing, their is no 83, their is only 8.7 and 8.3 So would it be 8.3?

Also, is the 'Sphere' also known as the power? One says 300 and the other 250. So would that be -2.50 and -3.00?

Talk to the eye Doctor who examined you, and or the optician you are using. Ask them detailed questions about those items you do not understand. They will answer them willingly, if you feel you are not getting the answers you need, talk to another doctor or optician. It is your right, and obligation to yourself to be fully informed.

Once you have your new glasses, or contacts, and you still have difficulty adjusting to them within a few hours, go back for fit adjustments, until the problem is remedied, even if it ultimately leads to a re-examination and a new prescription.

I went through this experience on my current glasses. The people I worked with were great. They did what had to be done to fix the problems I encountered.

yes, it would be 8.3 and yes, it's 2.50 and 3.00....that doctor just doesn't use periods obviously!
