Need help realtionship is on the fritz?

Question

I have been seeing this girl since the middle of May, I am 27 and she is 26 and has a 5 year old girl. When things started off it was hot and heavy for about 2 months. Recently things have fizzled out I got in trouble at work and her home was almost foreclosed on and the relationship has suffered greatly to the point where we don't hardly see each other which is not by my choice. We did have lunch last week and even took a shower together. Yesterday she started a new job and I asked her if she wanted to go out to dinner to celebrate and she text-ed me back saying that she was sorry and that she was trying to figure some stuff out. I responded with ok I understand. When she got off she text-ed me saying she was on the way home and was going to see how her daughter felt and that she would call me. Of course she didn't call me and I eventually went to bed.

this morning i called and left her a message saying that she is the sweetest girl I have known I am very lucky and that I am here for her. She did call me back a little while ago and said your sweet but a liar. I guess what I am wondering is should I lay low for awhile and see what happens or is there something else I should try to do.

Honestly Dude, lay low for a bit.

When a persons life it's on the fritz, you're not going to end up in a good place if you push yourself on her too much.  

I mean, be there for her when she needs you.  but also, be there for yourself.  

If it is meant to be, it will work out in time.
