Ok.. I tried downloading vpn client for a school related issue. My laptop froze during installation and I restarted it. When it finally finished restarting, I tried to open what was installed, and nothing happened. Thus I tried to re-install it from the download but it said to do this I had to remove the previous version installed. So I went to add/remove programs and it wasn't there.. so I tried to delete it manually but that didn't work. Said I had no permission to do so. I also tried signing into administrator once and deleting, that also still said I had no permission to delete. So to sum up, the installation was not properly finished and I want to remove it from the computer, but it is not in add/remove programs. Help?

  2. Try starting windows in SAFE MODE and uninstall the software.

Use msconfig.exe to check if it is added in the start-up programs. If yes, then remove that from the list and restart. Try uninstalling.

NEVER JUST DELETE A INSTALLED SOFTWARE.

  3. C drive

    prgram files

    find the program

    and delete the folder.
