  1. I assume you are 18, or soon to be.

The are ways to do it if you have chaperones, but you would need to contact the company about group trips.

    Here is Carnival's age policy:

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Domestic Partners/Same-s*x Union minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple are legal Domestic Partners/Same-s*x Union.  The couple must have legal proof of partnership/union at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.

Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.

The Group policy is slightly different because of stricter group terms and conditions including mandatory chaperones, damage deposits and other considerations.

  2. I definitely recommend Carnival Spirit cruise to Alaska. Nature is sooooooo beautiful, phenomenal, weather not very hot and all the ship is so much different from Caribbean cruises. There are much more older people and all the ship is much quieter.

Swimming pool water is heated ;) there are removable dooms over the open decks.

Disco closes around 1am as there are only few persons (mainly staff).

On the Lido deck you can see people playing cards, chess and reading books (not so common for Caribbean cruises).

Spirit does those cruises in spring and summer (April - September) and she departs from Vancouver going up north for seven days, the departing from Whittier (close to Anchorage) going down back to Canada.

  3. Not to beat you down on your age, I am 43. I used to cruise often and found the Carnival ships to be a younger "party" crowd. I did go on a Royal Caribbian cruise, which was more mellow. I'd suggest asking around as to what your cruise desires and needs are as opposed to a particular ship. You'll surely find a cruiseline which will fit your cruise desires. Enjoy your cruise!!!

  4. I just put together a trip for highschool seniors...in fact they just departed today out of Miami.  The first issue is how much money do the seniors want to spend, usually a shorter 3,4 or 5night cruise is best, unless the majority of your seniors are financially able to come up with the $$$ for a seven night.  Technically there needs to be a chaperone in each stateroom, however, after the ship departs, the configuration of who is staying in who's stateroom can be altered.  It must be booked, however, with an adult in each stateroom if the seniors are under age.  The next challenge is there does need to be enough chaperones to go around.  Next, there may be some waivers that would have to be signed by parents or guardians that is notorized.  It's good to speak with a cruise specialist, not a travel agent, and not online with an online agency like Expedia or something.  Work with a specialist that knows the industry and knows what they are doing.
