Need help setting jumpers on digital thermostat.?

Just bought a RiteTemp 6036 digital thermostat and the installation manual (printed in China) has several grammar errors and can be very confusing at times. This is especially true when it fails to explain how to "set jumpers." It only tells which ones to set, not how to set them. Please, any help would be more than appreciated.

It depends on the wiring. If you go to the right page for your wiring setup, it gives the jumper settings on the top of the page.

To set the jumper, take the little black block and slide it over both wires.
