2x^3 - 3x^2 -3x + 2=0

I've gotten the equation to:

x^2 (2x-3) - (3x-2)=0

However, I'm not quite sure how to proceed from there...

"x" is a real number

Thanks =)

  1. 2x^3-3x^2-3x=-2

    x(3x^2-3x-3)=-2

    x(x^2-x-1)=-2/3

    Sorry I'm outta time...but just keep factoring it...you should get two or three answers for x

  2. Graph it on a TI-83. The real zero crosses the X axis.

  3. Yes cubics suck. Get a solver

    (x-2)(x+1)(2x-1) = 0
