Need help to know......?

ok. surfing is awesome! and my dad is going to teach me how and getting me a surf bored soon. how deep should i go?

how high of waves should i go for or stop at. i need some surfing advise and answers to those questions plz!

learn to swimm in the ocean in all conditions so you can be safe out there. Then go surf

well if its your first time then dont go so deep and  dont go on the high high wave go on the small ones for now.

Hey, all good questions but the answers depend on your level of coordination and how agressive you are.  as in all things it would probably be a good idea to take a lesson or two to break the ice and see how you feel in the water.  There are some fine instructors out there and most of them will help you get on your feet the first day that you are out.   I am not sure where you live but go to the local surf shops and ask about local instructors.  If you are going to do this thing do it right!
