Need help to repair my ipod

Question

I have got a huge spot on my ipod and my battery after charging for 6 hours straight gives me about have an hour. I have a 30gb black ipod. I took it to the "authorized" apple service center in Panjim, Goa India called Keystone or something and they said that they could not replace the display!! And they said the battery is fine. I think the job is left to you guys to help me out and i will try to fix It at home

try holding pushing down on the down button and the center button at the same time and hold them both at the same time till it reboots itself see if that works...

hmmm. when mine was like that, i just brought it to my apple store, told them what was going on, and they gave me a new one right there. you don't have an Apple store where you live? if not, call 1-800-MY-APPLE. they may be able to help you out

Take out the battery and put it back in. Or I DONT KNOW
