Need help translating to irish gaelic?

I need to translate the following section of a Walt Whitman poem into Irish-Gaelic (Gaeilge), and am having some difficulty finding an accurate translation.

"The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse."

Any help would be much appreciated!

Teann an drama cumhachtach ar aghaidh agus thig leat vearsa a chur leis

Sorry I can't do fada's on this keyboard but there should be one over the "e" in Teann and over the "e" in vearsa

Not sure how it will sound in a poem though!
