My friend borrowed my camcorder and now I'm trying to make her dvd for her. I've got all of the files together exactly how I want them using CyberLink Power Producer and am ready to burn. Here's my problem: It won't fit onto my blank dvd; it's supposed to hold 120 minutes and all of the files I have total up to only 78 minutes, so what's the problem? I've never done this before, and my husband is trying to help me but he's really just playing Warhawk online so I'm kinda on my own here. I'm ready to get this disc made so I can delete these files off of my camcorder's hard drive, so if anybody can help, it'd be great. Thanks in advance.

  1. Well one problem could be that the footage is raw (taken directly from the camera), raw footage is extremely large. To fix this problem try importing into a video conversion program and convert it to a .wmv or .avi. If you do not have a video conversion program you can compress the video by opening up Windows Movie maker (Start>All Programs>Windows Movie Maker) and importing the video by going to the left hand side of the screen and clicking import, import the live footage and once done drag all the parts it creates to the time line on the bottom of the screen, once this is completed click on the "File" menu then click on  "Save Movie File", make sure the MY COMPUTER logo is selected allowing the computer to save the video on your computer and then click next, save the video where ever you want and name it what ever you want, continue to click next until it compresses the video (you may have a to wait a while). Once it is done you may go to where ever you saved the movie and put it onto a DVD.
