Need help using SD card on nintendo DS?

I've just got a new 4gb microsd card but when I put the files on it and tried it in my DS it just says it's loading and doesn't go to anything else. Can anyone tell me why it isn't working? Thanks

Um DS doesn't use ab SD card, Wii does though!

There could be a problem with your R4.. If you've installed all the folders in the correct place, it could be a connection issue. Try taking the SD card out, reinserting it and putting the R4 back into the DS if you haven't done so already; sometimes the connector pins don't quite line up and that causes the R4 to hang at the loading screen.
