I live in Southern Louisiana, and if anyone been here you know that the humidity almost suffocates you when you walk out the door. Every morning on Campus my hair goes from cute to HORRIBLE in like 5 minutes where its almost like why even bother doing it???? I see all these girls and their hair is totally fine. My hair curls up here, flips out here and flips out there looking NOTHING like what I started with.

If anyone has tips on what product to use please help!

When should I put it on, should I blow dry with it in hair or is it ok to just put it in dry and then flat iron it, what works best for you???

AND I want to know what state you live in to kind of guess your humidity level :)

Thanks so much in Advance!!!!

  1. I have naturally curly hair and when I go into the extreme humidity I get out of the shower then put gel on then I put in conditioner in it & leave it in (the kind you wash out in the shower) then I blow dry with a little hair spray on it, the conditioner is great it will help hold your hair down and it gives a good curl to it where it is not frizzy. I live in Utah were there is no humidity unless it rains or snows but I have traveled a ton to the Caribbean & that is what I do.

  2. Hey! I have really dry, frizzy hair too. To cut down on frizz, condition your ends really heavily (and trim often!). To make sure your scalp doesnt get oily, when applying shampoo, you should focus on your scalp. When using conditioner or products, however, avoid your scalp and focus on the ends/middle of your hair. I use John Frieda Frizz Ease Weather Works Shampoo/Conditioner and that works well. Then, for products I use John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum or Aussie Sprunch.

To use JF Hair Serum, put a squirt or two in your palms and work through your hair ONLY at the middle/ends. Don't touch your roots or your scalp! You can do this on wet or dry hair, but use a little more if you are blow drying because the heat will contribute towards the dryness of your hair. Read about it here: http://www.viewpoints.com/John-Frieda-Fr...

To use Sprunch, scrunch your hair up when its wet and spray. This should give it a nice solid wave. More on how to use it here: http://www.viewpoints.com/Aussie-Sprunch...

    Best of luck!
