  1. could you give examples?

some bread /courage = du pain / du courage (masculine)

some meat = de la viande (féminine)

some cakes = des gâteaux (plurial)

some water = de l'eau : if the word starts with a vowel, you use the l'

  2. Do you wanna learn spanish?

  3. Here's something that is very helpful that has helped me throughout the years:

    de + le = du  (m. sing.)

de + la = de la (f. sing.)

de + les = des (plural)

de + l' = de l' ( when a singular noun starts with a vowel l' is used so when making it a de contraction it stays the same no matter if its masculine or feminine)

you can also do it with à :

    à + le = au (m. sing.)

    à + la = à  la (f. sing.)

    à + les = aux (plural)
