Need help with Intel vs Amd ?

Question

Ive built a few systems but i have always used amd, I have a friend that wants me to build a system for him, but only wants intel processor and board, im looking at the intel chips and am confused, first off the intel fsb is 800mhz amd 2000mhz and is an intel duo 2.4 ghz going to be faster than an amd 3.0 ghz? please explain why if they are. thanks

Intel PCUs use a front side bus, AMD PCUs use Hyper Transports. Those two numbers aren't comparable 1:1.

well it might but i like AMD more and ive played games with intel and AMD and i think AMD is better

get the amd turion 64 x2 its great for gaming and internet

intel has better graphics..and it cost more..thats a dead give away..
