Need help with Knitting

slip slip knit decrease,knit 2 together.Does that mean I slip 2 then knit them together? or slip 2 and then knit together the next 2?Please help.Thanks

  1. you slip one stitch knitwise, slip a second stitch knitwise and then knit them together through the back loops.

    the knit two together, you just knit the next two stitch together.


  2. It means you slip 2 stitches knitwise from the left to the right needle and the you insert the left hand needle in these 2 stitches and knit them together . There is a good website with videos www.knittinghelp.com Good luck and happy knitting!

  3. there should be a special note somewhere on the pattern that tells you how the knit decrease works.

    but re reading your message, is there a knit decrease under the 2nd slip?? In that case you would slip the first stitch, then slip the stitch that was the knit decrease, then knit 2 together.
