Need help with a 1988 ford mustang has a/c problems?

Me and my uncle bought a 1988 mustang gt. it has mac headers and dual exhuast. But when we turn on the air it doesnt blow from the vents. I can hear it blowing at the floor but thats it. Any suggestions? Also when you drive it it gets very hot inside even with the windows down. you can feel the heat from the engine coming in thru the floor board?

It is possible that one of the vacuum lines that shuttle the vent doors is off,broken ,or leaking check them out.

Get under the dash and locate the evap case. The main door is not opening or closing properly.

There is some freon u can buy at NAPA Auto parts that turns green around leaks in your air lines.... Or u can poor dish soap all around the compresser, lines, etc...
