Need help with a baby cockatiel's hatching!!!!!!!!

I just had a baby bird hatch should we feed it water in a while or let the parents take care of it?

check and see if the mamma cockatiel accepts its baby.either way take both the mom and baby to vet. the t will tell you wat to feed it

Let the parent's take care of it.  Unless you are trained in hand rearing birds, it is very easy to get food/fluid into the lungs which will kill them.

Let the parents of the bird.  At such a young age there are so many things that you can do to potentially harm the bird.  Just take it to a vet and keep an eye on it to make sure the parents accept the bird.

NO do not do anything. Parents will take care of it and if they do not there is a good reason. They know something is wrong. But they should start soon. Do never ever give a baby bird water. They will aspirate it and choke to death. They get all the hydration they need from foods until they are old enough to drink. Good luck

NO let the parents take care of the baby. you start handling the baby after about 3 weeks so that its bonded with people. Until then just make sure there is plenty of food and water for the parents and let them take care of them.

You should let the parents take car eof it until 2 weeks if you want to pull it out to hand fed yourself and put a leg band on it . Unless for some reasons if the parents don't take care of it, then youc an step it and help out . Good luck and have fun !
