Need help with a book... Savages by Joe Kane?

Question

I have to write an answer regarding how the Huaorani defend against the government and the oil companies and if they succeed. Please help with suggested pages in the book that has info that could help. I am really confused. Also, please dont say to do my own work because I really tried very hard to this. Due Thursday Aug. 17

Savages is what "civilized people" refer to natives. The Huaorani people are native indians to Ecuador.  They are a very isolated people. I've never read the book, but it doesn't seem like that you have either. The Huaorani people have the rights to the land, but the Ecuadoran government has found oil near the Huaorani's tribal homes.
