a flask contains 25.0 mL of diethyl ether weighing 17.84 g. What is the density of the ether?

    So in this case the mass is 17.84 g and the volume is 25.0mL

    D=17.84/25.0=0.72g/mL


  2. 17.84 g / 25.0 mL = 0.714 g/mL (0.714 g/cm^3)
