  1. http://www.powercommander.com/powercomma...

  2. she can get a map for her motorcycle if she is using either the stock machine or common upgrades, can't she, don't they have a web site?

  3. you need a laptop, with and adapter cord that can plug into the computer and power commander.  Then once you have that you need a dyno to get the settings perfect on it.  without both items theres not much you can do with it.

EDIT:  Yes you can get a pre configured map from uh the power commander web site (not sure the exact website name)  BUT you will still need the part that connects to the computer and the power commander.  Some come with it but a lot of them you have to buy seperatly.

  4. Some power commanders use a USB cable and others use a serial cable. Both can be found at best buy for like 4 bucks.

The generic maps from the website don't do much. You need to get that bike dyno tested professionally. Ask any local motorcycle mechanic if he knows where you can have it done.

  5. You need a laptop that has Internet access, because DynoJet has a web site (www.dynojet.com)  to down load new maps for your bike, and an adapter cord that can plug into the computer and power commander. Technically you also need a DynoJet to Dyno your bike to see what map works best for it. But most people down load a map take their bike for a test ride to see which map their bike runs better on. Being a mechanic myself I do recommend Dynoing it but you don't actually have to, even though it is highly recommend.
