Hi,

whats your opinion on the name Emerson Faith?

i really like the name but as it used to be an all boy name (it's now unisex) i am worried about bullying when she reaches school.

I personally don't like Emerson for a girl and i don't think i would like it much for a boy either just because it reminds me of the cheap electronics brand. If you are wondering whether or not she'll be made fun of chances are you need to just move away from that name. I like the faith part tho. I have a cousin named Emalyn and i always thought that was pretty. Emalyn Faith? (pronounced Emma Lynn but together not separate)

I love the name and I think if you like nicknames a great one for her would be Emmi.  I don't think anyone would bully her at school for a name like this one.  Most kids now days are growing up hearing different names.

I think its cute for a little girl but you are right about possible bullying in school. I think if you really like it you should give it to her. If anyone teases her explain that its a name for both boys and girls. Who knows, maybe by the time she grows up it will be popular for girls :)

i have a unisex name as well, but it sounds weird being used as a boy's name (no offense)

i know how you're feeling, but i look at it like this:

you can call her emmie for short (which is a girl's name in real life)

i'm not saying i don't like the name (i love it, especially since i can relate with its uniqueness) but here are some suggestions anyways:

immerlyn (ee-mer-linn)

emma (emm-ah)

i really hope i helped, but  make sure you know you are not going to let her suffer from humiliation, because i've been through it, and it does hurt, and sometimes you feel like your parents should have known not to make such a stupid mistake.

i don't mean it in a bad way, but just make sure you're careful about this
