Question:

Need help with a mathematical equation, probably fairly simple to figure out.?

I would like to know the mathematical equation for figuring this problem out, as well as someone to break it down in explanation and provide answers (if possible). *(from the US)

Say one were to inject someone with 1cc of a solution, once every 14 days. If they were to switch to once every 10 days, what would be the adjustment in CCs?

1:14 = X:10; 1/14 = X/10 (guessing?) (Still wouldn't know exactly what to do with those equations to find the answer even if they were right)

What would the break down be for a 12 day cycle as well?

Thanks for your help, let me know if there are any other variables needed that I did not list.

  1. 14 day..........................1cc

    1 day.............................1/14cc=....

    10 days............................=.0714*1...

    12 days............................=.o714*1...

  2. I don't know if this is too simple or what you are looking for and I'm not from the U.S. but here goes;

1 cc per 14 days                                     = 1 cc per fortnight

    1 cc per 10 days =0.1 cc per day x 14 = 1.4 cc per fortnight

    1 cc per 12 days =  1/12 cc per day x14 = 1.666 cc per fortnight

          hope this helps

  3. without getting into fortnights (which just confuses the situation)

1cc per 14 days is 0.071 cc per day.

    (divide 1cc by 14 days)

0.071 cc per day is 0.71 cc per 10 days

    (multiply 0.071 by 10)

0.071 cc per day is 0.86 cc per 12 days
