Need help with a tattoo idea.?

i know i want to get one for my dad who committed suicide 5 years ago, and on his suicide note he said he'd be somewhere over the rainbow (( we loved wizard of oz)) but everything with a rainbow kind of looks g*y pride ish, help please

What about a rainbow made from ink smears... It'd be sorta like blots of paint in lines, resembling a rainbow. I think it'd look sweet.

If I were you, I would go with the ruby red slippers. That whole movie was about going home and that was how she got there. The slippers are more symbolic than the rainbow. I don't know if you are religious but I would have it designed on a cross with a name on it. No slogans, just the name. That way it means something to you, but can still be perceived as 'a cool tattoo'.

It's really up to you though. That was just my humble opinion.
