Need help with a tattoo idea?

Question

I just got my first which has turned into a full blown sidepiece. I'd like to start wrapping it around my back, but i'm stuck on what to get. I go to a custom tattoo artist, which is very talented. My question I guess, is should I give up my back as his canvas,or should I wait until I find something with a lot of meaning? My back will not be my last, and if I am going to have something back there at least I know he is a wonderful artist...

you could actually do both.. wait till you have a meaningful idea and take it to him so you both can make it original.. it will be his custom work but your meaningful idea.. that way its a collaborated effort..
