Well the story is i used www.californiadivorcepapers.com and they are being complete d*ckwads right now. I call and I email asking for them to send me my originals so I can mail them out myself and the point is they are giving me really really bad customer service. They don't return phone calls, don't return emails, even after I threatened to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau they didn't return a single email. So what I'm asking is what can I do? These people are located in Ohio I know that much but I don't have more than the state they are located in, their website, and phone number. Any suggestions? Who can I go to and ask for help?

10 ANSWERS

  1. Why don't you call Better Business Bureau instead of saying you will...

  2. Cancel whatever service you are using and just consider it a loss. Sorry, but that's what has to happen. Use a phone book and find somewhere new. Websites are unreliable a lot of the time and are aimed at making quick cash.

  3. mabey call them again and see if they answer and talk to the owner

  4. Maybe you should type in divorce papers online then they will track your original ones then you could probably tell them were your other one are and they might have them done faster

    Good luck

  5. You were right the first time.  Contact the Ohio BBB as soon as possible!  They will be able to direct you.  That sucks that you're going through this but it will get better.  The Better Business Bureau of Ohio will give you the next direction. Look up their number and give them a call!

  6. talk directly to the manager.....Just pretend that is something important and tell him about their customer service...

  7. Better Business Bureau is a good place to start. I would also contact the Attorney General's office in Ohio.

A question - how did you pay? If you used your credit card, see if your card issuer will remove that charge from your account.

  8. Contact a local news channel that investigates consumer complaints (most do). With the fear of their wrong doing being brought into the public eye, you might just get taken care of.

  9. Also contact your states attorney and the federal trade commission. And what the one above said. Thats what the BBB is for.

  10. Here's a few suggestions..

File an online report with the Better Business Bureau

Contact your state's Consumer Protection Dept. of the Attorney General's Office.

Go to FTC.GOV. There should be a link to report a consumer matter.

If anything went over the mails, contact the US Postal Office's Postal Inspector. Mail fraud is a crime.

Go to http://www.ic3.gov/ and report the crime to the FBI.

Your best response will likely come from your state's Attorney General's office.
