Need help with a website.?

Question

I want to make a website to sell something that I make. The only problem is that I am going to making them from home and dont want to tell people the address. How can I collect the money without having them send it directly to my house? I will put my AOL account on there to take the order though.....any help is great.....Thanks ahead of time....

You can have them pay through paypal.  Paypal charges a fee for the service but on the plus side they also allow the customer to pay by credit card or e-checks. You will also need a hosting company that includes a shopping cart.

You may find that a larger problem is getting visitors to find your site. To get a feel for that problem do a search for the product you want to sell on google and ask  yourself about where you might rank against the sites that come back.

There are several free newsletters that give information about SEO search engine optimization that can be helpful.

Site Pro News is one I like.

Keep in mind that the likely road to success for selling a home made product on the web is having one that people want at the price and will be also  be able to be found from a search.

Paypal - is what I would suggest.

or Google Merchant Services.

Neither will disclose your address - unless Law Enforcement Request it.
