A football is kicked straight upward. A position function s(t)=1/2at^2+v(base 0)t+ s(base 0) can be used to describe the balls height s(t) in ft after t seconds.

Graph: 2 sec (height=198) graphed as 2,198

5 sec (height=246) graphed as 5,246

8 sec (height=6) graphed as 8,6

a. use points to find values of a, v(base 0) and s(base 0). Solve system of linear equation involving a, v(base 0) and s(base 0) using matrices

b. find and interpret s(7). Identify your solution as a point on a graph.

c. after how many seconds does the ball reach its max height? What is the max height?
