Need help with adoption?

I was adopted in 1973 in Louisiana and need help in finding my birth parents. Does anyone know of companies that would do this? Thanks.

  2. what i did was go to the courthouse where my adoption was finalized. i took my birth cert with me.i filled out papers to be added to the adoption registry. the woman there told me the case number at the top of my birth cert was the same as the one on the original, the one my birthmother signed. she said that is how they can match them up. i dont know if that is the same with all states (im in michigan) but i would think it is.

    i had to keep on them. they got busy with other things and i kind of got pushed to the side for a while. but they eventually matched us up. this was free when i did it, i dont know that is true now or not.

    just a couple of months ago my birthmother and i found my bio father through classmates.com. sounds cheesey, but he has a common name and we were having problems finding the right one.
