on a trainee application, what can you say as your last sentence to leave a lasting impression?

Probably something along the lines of ....'I'm really looking forward to meeting with you, and excited about applying for this role, it's something I've always wanted to do and can't believe my good luck at being given this chance to apply....'

The fact that you're keen to get your application in and have an interview because you say it's something you've always wanted, and how appreciative you are at having the opportunity to apply tells them you might be want they want because you're bubbling over with enthusiasm ...... let's face it if the dog keeps saying 'throw the ball! throw the ball!....'  you will throw the ball won't you?!
