My oven fan is not working nor is my oven overhead light (even though I change the bulb) My outside the front door of the house outlet is not working now, and also my dryer all the sudden won't turn on, and there is a plug in the bathroom that won't work either. I've checked the fuse box in the basement and all switches are on, I reset all of them and nothing.

  1. If you have a garage it will probably have a GFCI receptacle in it. Check to see if it is tripped. Also check any other bathrooms and in the basement if you have one. There is certainly a GFCI receptacle somewhere in the house that has tripped and needs to be reset.

The odd thing is that your oven should have it's own circuit and should be 40 amps and 220Volts. There could also be a fuse in the oven that has blown.I'd be surprised if the two problems are related though.

  2. Did you reset all your GFI outlets?

  3. You may have just lost half of your electric service. In other words one of the 120 volt service lines to the house. If this is the case it is time to call an electrician.
