  1. shedding problem and retained eye caps

    1) bring the humidity up to 70%-80%

    2) a water dish he can submerge in the cage if possible

    3) get a lidded rubber-maid type container, fill it half way with warm, damp towels, and put your ball in there for 20-40 minutes

4)use mineral oil (can be foundin the pharmacy area)

using the the oil take a sock turned inside-out

over your hand and brush with the scales

If there is a problem with the eye caps apply the mineral oil with a q-tip gently to the eyes once or twice daily until they come off

*Whatever you do, don’t pull the skin off if there is any resistance (the skin is still sticking). You can injure your snake by doing that. Do not use tape to remove the eye caps! I know this is in many care guides, but don't do it! There is a greater chance of hurting your snake. The q-tip with minerial oil will safely soften the eye caps and remove them.

  2. you can go to a petstore and get a product to help them shed.  and just do what it says to do on the bottle.  that will help.

  3. when they shed they might or mightnot eat if the skin isnt over her eyes and there not blury than u can feed her if they are kinda foggy wait till they arent

  4. Mist her a few times a day and you also could soak her in luke work water for about 15 minutes a day. you should get a mister or fogger in her cage to get the humidity up to around 60%. That will help her shed in one piece. As it should be. I hope this helps you.

  5. Give her a her a warm bath..... put some warm water in the bath or a container.... fill it so its half way up the snake and then leave her for twenty mins or so! i would also raise the humidity.. you can do this by spraying a few times a day or if you have a ceramic bulb in there put a water bowl underneath it...... please don't try to pull the skin off yourself as this could do more harm than good! It helps if you have some kind of rubbing stone/branch in there so she can do it her self... hope this has helped!!! good luck with your snake!

  6. give her a warm bath like 70-80 degrees and gently peel it off.

  7. let her work it out on her own. mist her lightly in the morning and at night to help loosen it up for her, but don't try to pull it off. she'll take care of it.
