Need help with bid snipers?

Question

I was signing up for a bid sniping website and they asked for my ebay username and password, why do they need my ebay password? Are they going s***w up my account? does bid sniping really work?

do not give out this gives them total access to your account including payment info, do not use any site requesting this/
