Need help with big screen tv

i got this big screen HD tv and i cant play x box 360 or dvd players on it

its because we get video but no audio know ive gotten the audio to work after i played with it for a few hours

PLEASE help if u got any answers or suggestions

  1. on the xbox 360 on the scart lead into the tv it says tv or hd switch it to hd
