Question:

Need help with bloating?

Hi. Before i asked this question, i went to read all other questions about bloating and they didn't help much. So can anyone please answer my questions? Thanks!

I read that the real stomach size is the size of it when you just wake up. And mine is pretty flat. However, it TOTALLY poofs up by the afternoon and stays there till the next morning. It's totally irritating cause it makes me look fatter then i really am. I also had to buy a skirt a size larger that is actually too loose in the morning but tight after i bloat. I never fail to bloat every single day.

I know that drinking lots of water helps and i really drink alot of water and have to go to the bathroom so many times! But it doesnt reduce any bloating.

I also heard that being allergic to some foods may cause bloating too but i am sure i'm not allergic to any and i am not lactose intolerant. I also do not take alot of salts so i dont see the reason why i am bloating so severely.

Will the amount of fibre i take affect my bloating? Should i eat less or more? If i were to totally not eat and only drink water throughout the day, do you think it can make a difference?

What foods should i avoid and what should i eat more to reduce bloating? Do carbs make me bloat even more?

I absolutely do not know what to do and i hope somebody can help. Thank you v v much.

  1. Are you constipated at all?  Do you move your bowels 2x a day or at least once?  That would definitely contribute to the bloating - the other obvious to me is probably yeast/candida in your digestive tract.  Can cause you to feel bloated and uncomfortable as soon as you eat - constipation also makes this worse.

I'd cut back on obvious sugars and carbs(sugars, carbs, certain meds, alcohol, yeasty foods all grow yeast..as does stress!)...make sure you are going to the bathroom and start taking some acidophilus capsules , at least 2 a day...(health food stores) as acidophilus helps balance the yeast bacteria in the body.  Garlic helps destroy yeast so if you can add it more to your diet that will help too.

  2. your supposed to poo every single day

  3. it is common for women to experience bloating, especially the week leading up to a period. It is a natural build up of fluid.

The other thing to cause bloating is a build up of gas in the bowel. I know you dont want to pass wind in company, but you do need to get rid of it.

Could be either of these, or both.
