Hi everyone,

I'm a 15 and a half year old female who is nearsighted but doesn't have her glasses yet. I can't sleep because I'm having surgery in a month and I'm extremely nervous about it. Anyways, my left eye is bloodshot, and it's killing me. I held up a can of Pepsi to it and it made it feel somewhat better, but aside from sleeping, [which hopefully I'll do sometime soon] what else can I do for it? It feels extremely uncomfortable. And in an extremely unrelated note, my leg is itchy. Left eye, left leg, left hip [I'm getting the surgery on] I'm ambidextrous, there's something definitely wrong with my left side lol.

  1. I would use artificial tears, preferably ones without preservatives like Preservative Free Thera Tears (available at most drug stores), until you can go to an optometrist.

here's a link so that you can see what the packaging looks like: http://store.theratears.com/detail.aspx?...

The tears will also help with discomfort, like dryness.
