My bodyboard has a huge bubble in it. Its a fairly new board and it cost me 80 dollars, so i would like to know how to fix it. Also, how does all that air get in there?

  1. Sounds like a delamination. Did you leave it in a hot place? A delamination will occur by the overheated plastic melting and outgassing under the skin. If it's on the top, you can drain it with a pinprick. If it's on the bottom, it's probably a more serious matter: you might need to cut it and seal it up with "sponge-rez" cement. Before you do anything, check the warranty if there is one. If there is a surf shop near by, ask if they are capable of repairing it.
